Dr Shanil Shah
I graduated from the University of Manchester and completed my Vocational Training within the London Deanery. I proceeded to enhance my surgical training with an Oral and Maxillofacial post in a major London hospital. In 2011 I became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons by completing the MJDF (Member of Joint Dental Faculties) examinations.
At present I am undertaking a four year part time master’s programme, alongside working as a General Dental Practitioner. This MclinDent, at Kings College London, is a stepping stone towards specialisation in Prosthodontics (the prosthetic replacement of teeth). My particular interests lie within complex aesthetic dentistry, especially tooth wear, and the treatment of anxious patients. I am also an experienced practitioner of Inman Aligners, which enables straightening of teeth. During my spare time, I enjoy travelling, socialising with friends and family and sport including football and tennis.
